WELCOME BACK AND STUDENT SAFETY

A huge welcome back to all students.

We are now fully open again and we welcome you back to our learning centre in Bingley.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

We’ve reorganised our learning centre to create maximum social distancing for all students.

Following advice to schools, all desks are now between 1 to 2 metres between them with all students facing in the same direction, to maximise social distancing and minimise chances of exposure.

NEW classroom added on first floor..

SAFETY IN THE CENTRE

To maximise safety of students and tutors, everyone in the centre is required to wear a mask.

Hand gels and disposable hand towels are available at the entrance and outside the toilets.

We are also able to open windows and provide excellent ventilation, which is an additional way to prevent transmission of the virus.

If you display any symptoms of Covid 19, please do not enter the learning centre.

Symptoms include:

  • A new continuous cough

  • High temperature

  • Loss of taste and/or smell

Other possible symptoms in children:

  • Vomitting

  • Diarrhoea

ENTERING THE CENTRE

If your child is dropped off by an adult, please ring the buzzer next to the main entrance, on the roadside - a member of staff will let your child in.

We ask parents not to come inside the learning centre, but to send children in by themselves. This obviously helps to minimise the amount of people in the centre and helps us to maintain social distancing.

We look forward to seeing all students again!
